The terms "affordable," "budget-friendly," or "low-cost" do not guarantee that a listed business offers the lowest price in Vancouver.

Prices may vary according to:

7. Automatic Renewal of Paid Listings

Paid advertising subscriptions may automatically renew only when the advertiser has expressly authorized recurring billing.

The recurring amount, billing frequency, subscription duration, renewal conditions, and cancellation procedures will be disclosed before enrollment.

Unless cancelled before the next renewal date, an authorized subscription may renew for the agreed period and price.

Material price changes will be communicated in advance, with additional consent obtained where legally required.

Advertisers may cancel future renewals without cancellation penalties.

8. Flexible Cancellation Policy

SalonVancouver.com aims to maintain fair and transparent advertising arrangements.

Advertisers may request cancellation of paid directory listings at any time.

There are no cancellation penalties.

An advertiser may request immediate removal of a listing or allow it to remain active until the end of the current prepaid advertising period.

Cancellation of future billing does not automatically reverse charges for advertising services already delivered.

Requests will be processed within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Fair Prorated Refund Policy

For standard prepaid directory listing subscriptions:

Before Publication: A full refund is available if no advertising services have been delivered.

Within Seven Calendar Days of Publication: Advertisers may request a prorated refund for the unused portion of the subscription.

After Seven Calendar Days: Advertisers may request a prorated refund for unused full calendar days remaining in the prepaid advertising period.

Refund amounts will be calculated according to the unused portion of the agreed subscription term.

Separately priced custom promotional services already completed may be excluded where disclosed in advance and legally permitted.

Approved refunds will normally be processed within 15 calendar days.

Nothing in this policy limits mandatory statutory refund rights.

10. Accuracy of Salon Information

Participating businesses are responsible for ensuring that submitted information is accurate, current, and not misleading.

This includes:

Legal business names
Physical addresses
Telephone numbers
Websites and booking links
Service descriptions
Staff qualifications
Operating hours
Prices and promotions
Photographs and logos
Cancellation policies

Businesses should promptly notify us of material changes.

We may correct, suspend, or remove inaccurate information.

11. Professional Qualifications and Representations

Listed beauty professionals are responsible for accurately representing their training, experience, certifications, and professional qualifications.

Businesses must not falsely claim professional licences, medical qualifications, accreditation, or regulatory approval.

Where a service requires a particular professional authorization under applicable law, the provider is responsible for ensuring that the service is performed by an appropriately authorized person.

Directory inclusion does not independently verify every professional credential.

12. Hygiene, Sanitation, and Public Health Responsibilities
